I can’t wait to be happy, because lately

i’ve felt the most alive on the brink of death.

I can’t wait till i’m waking up to my own smile,

my own satisfaction and peace.

I can’t wait to greet my future,

shake hands with the present

and wave goodbye to the past.

The world is an oyster i can’t wait to crack open,

slurping up the joys of living.

because today’s already good enough.
